The Santa Fe Community orchestra (SFCO) is comprised of amateur musicians from all walks of life ie.,

attorneys, students, teachers, doctors, scientists, retirees, homemakers. Members share their love of music and dedication to their instruments. Many have been serious students of their instruments in the past, having played in high school bands and orchestras and some continue to develop their skills through private study. The orchestra performs four to five symphony concerts each year. In addition, the ensemble reaches out to the community through unique educational programs including children’s concerts, instrument-making workshops, the Orchestra Buddies program, and workshops for adult musicians. All performance of the SFCO are free to the public.
