As the only natural history museum in the area,Kingman Museum serves all of southwest Michigan and in particular Calhoun County. Kingman Museum’s mission is to promote an understanding and appreciation of our natural world, the universe, and human cultures. We do this through the interpretation of our collection, the presentation of programs, and through planetarium shows on our high definition Digistar III planetarium system. We have three floors of exhibit space with exhibitions on animals, geology, the Ice Age, dinosaurs, and more. The museum dates back to the late 19th century and holds several unique and rare items in its collection. |
