The Aquatic Resources Education Association is a non-profit organization of local,state, federal, industry, fisheries and educational professionals involved in aquatic resource education programs. AREA provides decision makers at the national, regional, and state level on aquatic issues, strategies and methodologies. Education, public awareness, recreation, environmental issues, marine biology, and more are concerns of AREANET members. AREA provides a forum for issues, deliberation and resolution; serves as a communiction liaison in promting wise-use management and recreational sports related to them. |
